When you make a reservation or purchase a gift certificate, we collect the information you provide: name, email address, mobile phone number, mailing address, party details, and any special requests. Payment card details are collected and tokenized directly by our payment processor, Stax Payments; Charleston Taylor Estate does not store your card number.
We use your information to manage your reservation: confirmations, reminders, changes and cancellations, payment for your visit, and — if you choose — occasional updates about releases and events. Reservation details are shared with our staff and synced to our internal scheduling calendar so we can host you well.
We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your mobile phone number or SMS consent with any third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Your number is used solely to send you the reservation-related messages you opted into, delivered via our messaging provider (Twilio) acting on our behalf.
Message frequency: approximately 2–4 messages per reservation (confirmation, one reminder, and occasional service messages such as a payment link, waitlist notification, or post-visit thank-you). Frequency varies with your reservation activity.

Our experiences involve wine. Our reservation messaging is intended for individuals 21 years of age or older, and consent to receive messages includes your confirmation that you are 21+.
We use trusted service providers to operate reservations — payment processing (Stax), email delivery (Postmark), text delivery (Twilio), calendaring (Google), and our loyalty program (bLoyal). Each receives only the information needed to perform its service for us and may not use it for other purposes.
